FAQ
Your guide to perfect DTF prints
What are DTF Transfers?
Direct-to-Film (DTF) is a cutting-edge printing technology that produces vibrant, soft, and incredibly durable full-color transfers. The process is simple:
Print: We print your design onto a special clear film using high-quality, water-based inks.
Cure: A powdered adhesive is applied to the back of the ink and cured, turning your design into a ready-to-apply transfer.
Press: You receive the finished transfer, ready to be applied to your garment with a standard heat press.
What is a Gang Sheet?
A gang sheet is a large print sheet where you can place multiple different designs together. This is the most cost-effective way to order, as you pay for the total area of the sheet, not for each individual design.
Tips for a Great Gang Sheet:
Fill the Space: Combine different sizes of your designs on the same sheet. This is perfect for ordering chest logos, neck tags, and full-size graphics all at once to maximize the area you’ve paid for.
Watch Your Margins: Leave a small amount of space (at least 0.25 inches) between your images to make them easy to cut out when you receive your transfers.
Check for Quality: Ensure all images you upload to your gang sheet are high-resolution (300 DPI) with a transparent background for the best possible print results.
Artwork & File Prep
Great prints start with great artwork. Please follow these guidelines for the best results:
Recommended Format: PNG with a transparent background.
Resolution:Â 300 DPIÂ minimum. Low-resolution images (like screenshots) will result in a blurry or pixelated print.
No Mirroring:Â Please do not mirror your artwork. We will handle that on our end.
