  • Reviews/Surveys: content you submit (ratings, feedback).

  • Device & Usage: IP address, browser type, device identifiers, pages viewed, referring/exit pages, timestamps.

We do not sell personal information for money. Some state laws define “share” to include targeted advertising; we may “share” in that sense unless you opt out via the cookie banner or by contacting us (see Your Rights & Choices).

6) Retention

  • Accounts & Orders: retained as long as needed and for tax/accounting (often 3–7 years).
  • Artwork & Uploads: retained to fulfill orders, assist with reprints, troubleshoot, and improve quality. You may request deletion after your order completes.
  • Chat & Support: retained for service quality and training, then archived or deleted.

7) Your Rights & Choices

Depending on your location, you may have rights to:
  • Access & Portability (get a copy of your data).
  • Correction (fix inaccurate data).
  • Deletion (request deletion, subject to legal limits).

16) SMS/Mobile Messaging

By checking the SMS opt-in box during checkout, you consent to receive automated order updates (such as printing status and pickup notifications) and occasional promotional texts from The Vinyl Hut at the mobile number provided. Consent is not a condition of purchase. We comply with CTIA guidelines regarding mobile messaging.
  • No Third-Party Sharing: We do not share, sell, or rent your mobile information or SMS opt-in data to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Your mobile data is strictly used for internal communication between The Vinyl Hut and you.
  • Opt-Out: You may opt-out of receiving SMS messages at any time. Simply reply STOP to any message you receive from us. After you send the SMS message “STOP” to us, we will send you a single SMS message to confirm that you have been unsubscribed.
  • Help: If you are experiencing issues with the messaging program you can reply with the keyword HELP for more assistance.
  • Cost: As always, message and data rates may apply for any messages sent to you from us and to us from you. Message frequency varies based on your order activity.

A Note on Artwork You Upload

By uploading artwork or names/numbers, you confirm you have the necessary rights or permissions. We may temporarily store and process your files to fulfill your order, enable reprints (if requested), and improve quality. Files are deleted after order is completed. Last updated: April 1, 2026
